Just for fun, here are some photos I took tonight of a few neps, under the fluorescents of the growrack.
Very red sanguinea, 3 inch pitcher:
glabrata. This plant loves to burrow its tendrils into the sphagnum before inflating them.
Lady Pauline:
spectabilis x aristolochioides, BE clone. I love the reddish glow from the interiors:
Older pitcher, about 1.5 inch in size:
1 week old pitcher, just under 2 inches:
inermis x ventricosa, seedgrown. Took this one forever to adjust after acquiring it while it was very small, and it's finally putting out pitchers after nearly a year. 1.5" pitchers:
thorelii x (spectabilis x northiana), Exotica Plants. Very vigorous grower, and the leaves have a lot of red in them. They start out green with a dark red midrib. After a few weeks, there are hundreds of small red spots. After a couple months, the entire leaf will be very red. Here's a 6 inch pitcher watching over glabrata:
