A small pitcher of N. izumiae from Wistuba. In the sunlight the pitchers are a purplish black color, but I can assure you that in the shadows of my basement these pitchers are quite black indeed. ;)
The first N. inermis upper to form in my possession.
And the inermis pitcher sitting in...

Hey guys,
Back a couple months ago I made a decent sized order with wistuba, they should be here sometime this month. Not knowing where to put them I decided to build a box for them. First I needed a shelf to put into the chamber so I took steel wool to an old rusted chrome shelf. Then...
"Heliamphora tatei var. neblinae x hispida (Cerro N Natural hybrid. Very pretty. I did not expect them to be so spectacular as they turned out! We now selected a clone that certainly is one of the most beautiful Heliamphoras I've ever came across."

This is an unknown Hamata clone I have.
It was given to me when it was real small and it was in real bad shape.
It bounced back pretty good. I'm not sure if it came from Wistuba, BE, MT???

Here are some pics of a couple of toothy smilin' N. macrophylla clones.
This first one is of a clone I got from CZ Plants last year,
This next pitcher is from a Wistuba clone that I also acquired last year.
And this final pic is of the two N. macrophylla clones side by side, with the...
Here are some pics of the same Wistuba N. hamata, from last year at around this time and some more from just this month.
Last year this hamata was a small rosette, only 2.5" in diamter with a pitcher barely 1.5" tall.
Now this pitcher is very close to 4" tall.
Last year's peristome...

A few of you out there grow orchids and Nepenthes. I decided to shoot a couple of Phragmipedium cultivars that were in bloom as well as a N. talangensis pitcher that had just opened this week. Just wondering how the Nep would hold up against the Phrags beauty-wise...
The two orchid flowers...

Hiya Fellow CP'ers
Recently I purchased what I thought was a N. macrophylla, but looking at its newest pitcher, it is obviously not.
I have contacted the person who sold me this plant, but he has not yet responded. I believe he had sold me this plant on good faith, but it unfortunately is one...

Here is a photo of the Catopsis berteroniana, just out of the bag, that I received from Wistuba yesterday. It is potted up into a solo mix of coarse perlite. The plant is still small, standing only about a couple of inches tall.
The title 'Lamparas de la selva' is the common South American...
