Hey everyone. I finally got a chance to take some more pictures today. I had started a thread in the Sarr section, but decided to make a new one for these in this section.
I'll update this one as my bogs continue to wake up.
Going to start off with some more Sarr flower pictures taken this...

Im around Lincoln City and Im wondering if anybody knows of any areas with wild darlingtonias around here? I saw a Darlingtonia State Park but its about 2.5 hours away which is a little tough with a not-so-enthusiastic wife and two young kids.
In mid-April I will be moving down to Mississippi for about three and a half months for a new job, and most of my plants are coming with me, but I just know those warm, steamy nights would do my Drosophyllum and Darlingtonia in quickly. So I'm wondering if I might be able to find someone in an...
So- in the wild, tuberous drosera go dormant during the hot, dry Summers and then grow during the mild, wet Winters.
In cultivation, a plant's climate is normally mimicked for them to grow propperly, but how neccessary is HEAT in tuberous drosera dormancy? Where I live, the average daily...
Upon reading this thread I felt compelled to be a wet blanket since nobody else is saying anything.
Many, if not all of these ebay vendors are taking these seeds from their indigenous environment most likely with no permits. Also I have never heard of any of these Indonesian vendors actually...

I love this plant, I have 3 different ones at the moment. 1 from a seed pack I bought at the mall, 1 I took as a cutting from a garden and a wild one.
This one is from the cool mountains of the mediterrenean region. It grows in small groups at the base of trees and the flowers have a powerful...

From this years harvest, plant was self-pollinated from lack of other pollen donors. Nothing remarkable color-wise with the parent plant, remains mostly green for me throughout the growing season and picks up red coloring while dormant. It is a somewhat vigorous grower though (at least for me)...
Being new to this hobby, I have no insight as to the legality or morality of harvesting CP seeds from the wild.
Can I get some input from Y'all?
I can see issues and arguments arising from both sides of this.
I would like to collect some (not for sale) but not sure if it is right or not. ???
Hello!
A few of you might remember when I started a page that I called "The Sphagnum Photo Page". So, I am looking for photos of Sphagnum in cultivation, or in the wild.
Here's what I originally posted. :P...
So I may or may not have befriended a sarr god. Who may or may not have pointed me in the direction of an undisclosed location of wild CP's. And.. I may or may not have stumbled upon it this afternoon.
Today's trip (bog was only 35min. from home) was good for a few pics, and a...
