I'm pretty new at this and this is my first plant. I want to make a real setup for it and get it to pitcher again (it's growing now but not pitchering) but I don't know if it's a highland or a lowland plant and I'm hoping to figure that out before I buy all the stuff. The temperatures here are...
I bought this guy a year ago, and it's been growing very well in a huge variety of conditions (high humidity, low humidity, full shade, full sun, etc), but I dont know it's species. It has never flowered, too.
Can someone identify it?
Including both my TF and Reddit usernames just for clarity. Asterisk * denotes those plants I am able to trade (either fresh or established pullings, divisions, etc.). PM for details.

Hi everyone, I have several seed pods to give away from a newly acquired unidentified drosera. I've included a picture but it's not the best as the plant isn't quite established yet. Please start a standard numbered list with your Terraforums username...
Hi everyone, ordered a bunch of mixed, unidentified droseras and I need help ID'ing them! I've color coded them...please say the color and then what it is. Let me know if you need better pictures/close ups. Thanks in advance!! [/IMG]
I lied... :jester:
If there is anything that I don't have for trade, but you are dying to have, send me a pm and I'll see if I see what I can start propagating for ya. I'm always looking for different clones than what I have, so if you have something I already have on my growlist, send me a...
Wet Season Exploration
The wet season indeed has moved upon Colorado. for 3 weeks, its been nothing but clouds and rain.
This means two things.. advanced greenery and fungi.
Here are some photos from around the greenbelt in my area. Many cotton woods
and grasses in this area. Primarily...
Up for auction is a box containing the following:
1. Multipoint division of Sarracenia 'Lemon' obtained from Meadowview, pic on their website.
2. 3 fans of an unidentified Sisyrhynchium. Could be S. montana or S. californicum. Bloom will tell.
3. Nice division of Hesperantha coccinea. ZA bulb...
This post is a testament to my technological ignorance. Attaching a photo to a pm is beyond me, so I post these for jcal's perusal. Clockwise from upper left: first two pics are Masdevallia 'Fuschia Dawn Rolf', unidentified Tillandsia, Ornithophora radicans. Although potted in the pics I will...
I want to propose a question with some pics for comparison. All of these leaves are at close to the same point in development. You will note that 2 have significantly longer tendrils. Is the tendril length before the leaf unfurls, in any way indicative of HL or LL genetics? Would love to hear...
Thoughts? According to the article it is a previously unidentified species of Nepenthes with pitchers similar to N. alata. The only other discovery of the plant was over...
Hey all, its been a crazy summer for me. A lot has happened over the course of the season and I am way behind on my terraforums love. Now that the cruise ships have stopped sailing and my seasonal work is over, I have plenty of time to get down to business/attend to horticultural matters.
I've started my first ever planted tank. I recently got rid of my 55 gallon, so this is just made of a ten gallon I had lying around. A member here on the forums was generous enough to send me several plants to start up. It's a dirt bottom tank with the LED equivalent of 40 watts of light. I'm...
I have a few things left over from redoing a couple of my above ground half barrels. Plenty of Cranberry, some Scirpus rush (possibly americana), some very pretty unidentified "weeds", D. filiformis and some D. intermedia from White's Bog NJ. I have enough to make 2 nice small flat rate boxes...
There are a couple reasonably local botanical gardens that have carnivorous plants in their collections...
The closest one (Matthaei) has a couple Sarrs, in with some VFT's and Drosera. And a hybrid unidentified Nep or two.
The farther, but nicer one (Frederik Meijer) has a much broader...
