Hi folks,
I just recieved in the mail a hand sized cutting from a large Stapelia (carrion Flower succulent), it may be S. gigantea or some other species with a very large flower. Anyway, I was wondering how do I root it? do I need to make cuts to allow the roots to emerge, soak in B vitamins...
I found what had been attacking my barrels due to the fact that they are now at my lithops. They are like small white dots when on the plants. When older they can cross the soil, rice shaped at this stage (very small), and I believe that they may finally become air born. Any way they turn the...

My big aloe continually spawns young, and though I have recently cleared out most of the little plants, I still have 3 large, healthy 1 to 1-1/2 year old plants looking for a good home.
I know these are commonplace, so I'm not asking for anything in return. I just want them to find a happy...

Hi,
I'm looking for people, in Canada, interested by succulent plants in the Asclepiadiaceae family (Apocynaceae now?), such as Stapelia, Huernia, Tromotriche, Orbea , etc. If any is involved in such collection, please let it me know Trading partnets would be welcome, since it seems...
I have a variegated "earth Star" succulent (sorry scientific name escapes me, looks like a spiderplant crossed with a sansiveria) that I want to separate, it is small but badly overgrown...
I'm imagining that just cutting the rosettes off and rooting them normally should be alright but I'm not...
Hey -
When in the growth cycle do P. moranensis and P. esseriana bloom?
Will they become succulent, signaling time to dry them out, or do they need to be dried out thus causing them to turn succulent?
Are there factors needed to convince them it's succulent-time, or do they keep up with it...

I searched for this subject and didn't find a topic dedicated to these plants so I decided to make one. I didn't think it should go in the orchid or cactus forums since I'm fairly sure it's neither. It's probably a succulent... The mods can move the topic if they want.
Anyway! I'm thinking of...
