Hi all,
I've been keeping carnivorous plants for about a year (and stalking these forums almost as long). In the past, I've had success mostly with keeping plants outdoors (VFT, Sarracenia mutts, temperate sundews), although I've had a N. sanguinea doing wonderfully for me growing right besides...
Nepenthes Miranda. Has quite a few growth points. I got it last fall, finally got one in good condition. Has been growing in my window this winter so that's why it's growing sideways.
When I bought this from a local nursery it was labled as nepenthes rafflesiana. It started pitchering this...
Just some photos I took today:

So, I've never really posted pics of my growing arrangement, because everybody's greenhouses and terrariums put my lowly college student-budget windowsill to shame! At my low point I only had about 2 CPs to my name (bad plantsitter while I was abroad)... dark days.
Now, four years later, a...
Hi all. I've decided to create my own photo quizz page of my orchids, neps, plants and pets. Let's see how well you know your orchids out of bloom, your neps and how well my chatbox buddies know me. The link is to a photo gallery labeled "photo fun1". The images are numbered 1-27. Hint...
Hi all. I have a N. sanguinea up for trade. It is still fairly small, about 4" in diameter and fits in a 3 inch pot. Although I purchased it as "green", to be honest I cannot tell a difference in the pitcher color from my "orange". So I'm keeping just one. it is not on pitcher at the moment...

I agree DETHCHEEZ, that it is a very nice Nepenthes, and shouldn't be scorned just because its name is bogus. Unfortunately many CP continue to be given bogus names, when valid names can just as easily be created.
I believe that, since its parentage is not known for certain, perhaps it wouldn't...
