Every couple years or so, I'll uproot one of my older plants and divide the rhizome -- in part, to obviously produce more plants; but, also, as an insurance policy against possible loss. The eight year old plant was divided in mid-August; and the first of the sprouts were seen within ten days...
So I mostly Grow VFT's with a few Sarracenia, I would love to try my hand at Sundews and Heliamphora but I don't have $500 to drop on growlights right now. There are a few things I have to trade and a few things I want which will be listed at the bottom. If I have any to trade I will put it in...

As the title says, I'm looking for D. linearis. Doesn't have to even be a mature plant. Seeds, seedlings, strikes, or even fresh cuttings are welcome; I can root them myself. Just looking to own a specimen or two of the species.
I have a few things to trade, but not much.

I have a volunteer plant that's starting to shade stuff I don't want shaded, so it has to go! Preferably looking for a trade, but will let it go for the cost of shipping. Shipping presents a choice. Intact, the plant will need a medium box, $13. However if I trim a couple fronds it will fit in a...

Passing trough eBay I found this auction: *link removed*
" This is the first, limited release of Cephalotus follicularis "Dudley Watts," micro-propagated, or "tissue-cultured" from 2012-13 "vegetative" leaf and rhizome tissue -- obtained from plants in the EU and the UK (see additional...
I'm in the middle of a massive pond cleanup on a severely neglected pond. There are far more water lilies than this pond and our nursery can handle. These are white flowered, some tinged with pink, sorry no picking. I'll give a piece of rhizome at least 4" long to any participating member of the...
im wondering what is up with this?!?!
So we have a little typical VFT and i noticed its growing new traps inbetween many of the already established leaves as well as the original growth points. At first i thought it was just getting ready to split its rhizome but its got soo many emerging traps...
Looking for a rhizome or two of Dionaea 'Alien'. I've got Mexican pings, sundews, and some Utricularia to trade. Check my growlist. PM and we can work something out.

I lost quite a few plants this winter but I have a Sarracenia that is sending up much smaller pitchers than usual. Should I dig it up and cut away the part of the rhizome that is dead or should I just leave it be. I'm a bit concerned that the dead part may have some kind of 'rot' that will...

I picked up a Selaginella lepidophylla the other day because I had one 8 years ago, however it
in the end died and I wanted to try to restart and see if I could grow one.
However, after reading around on the internet some people claim these plants
are all dead because they had the rhizome...
