How can you tell if your pygmy is producing gemmae? My scoropides (actually, 2 out of my 3) has a thick crowding of "green bumps" on top of the crown where leaves usually come out. There seems to be atleast 30. Gemmae? If so, how do you know when they are ready to come out (if that factor...
Okay, I know that D. prolifera will grow plantlets at the end of their flower staks and sometime VFTs will do it too. I have heard that a couple ot the othe temperate Drosera also have a tendancy for it but I just found one of my mystery pygmies has a new plant growing on the end of its scape...

Hi fellow Drosera people. I just got 2 D. dichrosepela from Cook's yesterday, and i potted them up in a 6 inch pot of peat/sand (50/50). I recieved them with a clump of dirt around their roots, so i know the roots werent damaged during shipping. I repotted with out messing with thee root also...
Well, it seems most of the Lake Badgerpud (spelling is wrong lol) is dying, even though i was told to grow them outdoors. All my pygmies are on theyre way out and my last hope are some hyperostigma gemmae donated from Tamlin. Man...i thought i was an Iron Chef of Drosera, but the pygmies! my god...

yup, thnaks to CP2k, i got some X lake Bur...(spelling escapes me lol). Should i grow them outdoors? I plan to place them outside during the moring and bring them back in at night. I think the dramatic change in temp killled my other pygmies. Thanks again-Zach
