It just amazes me how big is the ability of some drosera species' seedlings to catch its pray. I checked on my D. peltata seedlings today and saw how 3mm plant successfully caught .5cm fruitfly: detail: I just hope one day when she grows up she will not eat me:-)

I read in Stewart McPhersons new book, entitled "glistening carnivores", that tuberous drosera, in this case d. peltata, will still go dormant over its set dormant time, no matter what. Is this true even if I left the plant in the trays and kept watering it? Or do I have to dry the tubers out...
