Tuberous Drosera- Watering over winter

I read in Stewart McPhersons new book, entitled "glistening carnivores", that tuberous drosera, in this case d. peltata, will still go dormant over its set dormant time, no matter what. Is this true even if I left the plant in the trays and kept watering it? Or do I have to dry the tubers out over its winter stage?
Help appreciated from everyone.

If all the factors are right you can keep a precious few of the tuberous in a state of perpetual growth. However it is a serious pain to get all the factors right and I would not advocate trying.

When the plant starts dying back then pull t fro the tray and let it dry out. When it comes back into growth put it back on the tray and resume watering.

And BTW, your tuberous should be growing in the winter and not the summer :)
