Good morning to everyone here at the Terra Forums. I thought I should introduce myself since I have been pouring over pages of your threads the last few weeks.
I am new to the world of CP's but not to growing plants in general. I find myself always searching for something new to germinate. I...

Here is a link to the heater...
I figured that while I was taking pictures of the new setup, I might as well do an update on my plants. Here goes
The new Lowe's nep I bought today when I was getting glass cut.
New D. adelae I also bought today
VFT 1, it got a bit mangled during shipping but it's throwing out new traps...
So the town Lowes here at school got in their annual shipment of 3 tier, indoor greenhouses. With my collection being larger than last year (but still very small) it is much more enticing to get a small greenhouse to keep everything in. So a few questions:
1) What are the...
I see some talk about using ice cubes made of rain or distilled or RO water to keep the roots cool on Darlingtonia. I'd been watering with ~45 degree water when I looked outside and realize I have tons of snow. I melted some and it's 17-20 ppm TDS.
I just got this Darlingtonia from Lowe's, so...
I just got this little terrarium done tonight for my cousin who's 11 and said she wants a Venus Flytrap. I'm gonna grow it for a while until the moss settles and give it to her for her birthday in Feb. I figured in a small enclosed space if she forgets to ever water it the...
Hey all - thought I might share a few pics!
A few shots of some of my pings that seem to be doing very well:
P. esseriana (thanks SDCPs!)
P. 'Sethos' (thanks SDCPs!!)
P. moctezumae (made quite a nice recovery after a near-death experience)
And the rest:
N. ventricosa. Sorry for the...
So my girlfriend said last time we were at Lowes that she likes orchids, so when I stopped by tonight and saw some withering ones on sale for $5 I picked her one up. The flowers don't look very good, but the leaves are still a healthy green so I have faith it can be salvaged. From what I've...
I bought 8 small pots of VFTs at Lowe's yesterday that were on the "clearance" shelves for $1 each. Each little pot has +/- 40 individual plants of all sizes. I'm only through dividing up 3 so far: big ones into separate small pots, small ones into a flat, and a few, well, into the compost...
So my Lowe's has these huge cobra plant marked at half price.. If anyone wants any, just shoot me a PM and I'll middle man for you free of charge. Just pay purchase price and shipping.
$7ea. +shipping
Today I got a Darlingtonia from Lowes. A nice one too.
Anyway, I was wondering if it's worth the effort to put it into 2 months dormancy or if it can skip a year.
I would have to wait for the ground to thaw if I were to put it outside.
Thanks,
Adam
My brother bought this for me yesterday at Lowes. I think it looks pretty healthy for a Lowes cubed plant. Anyone have any idea which nep it is? A couple people suggested ventricosa. Thanks!

I just bought a Sarracenia purpurea and a venus flytrap from lowes. It was a new shipment. I am wondering if it would be ok to replant them before going into dormancy? I would like to get them out of their little pots
Not sure if this is a new one or not. Didn't have a chance to pick one up, but will if I swing back around there.
It's our old friend the Deathcube -- same anonymous company, same logo, same everything. However, instead of being a single plant in a square pot, it's a package of LFS, a package...
Greetings,
I was at Lowes today, and I ran across their display advertising this (among others):

Now, I've been growing solely in pots, and I thought it would be nice to have a mini-greenhouse to at least...
