Hi all,
I have 10" Nepenthes ampullaria 'red giant' up for trade. Also available is a 8" N. globosa
I'm looking to trade both for a very healthy and good sized (at least 3.5-5" dia) cephalotus or one plant for a 2" cephalotus. Pm if you have something...thanks
I am setting up a lowland terrerium to grow lowland nepenthes. I have not had much long-term sucess with nepenthes in the past, but I think this time I will be sucessful.
Right now I have 2 empty tanks that I could use, a 20 gallon tank and a 50 gallon tank. I think I will use the 50 gallon, but...
Hi all!
I have been hunting some of the more obscure (and big) lowland nepenthes for a while. I am mainly looking for (but not limited to :D):
N. sumatrana
N. merriliana
N. rowanae
N. globosa
N. pervillei
N. rafflesiana
N. truncata
Please contact me if you have one and wish to trade.
Thanks...
You don't see a lot of N. lavicola. Mine has two growth points each making a lot of pitchers. It's not an "exciting" nep, but I like it:
I've moved my plants around for the recent BACPS show, so I took some pics of some that have been hiding. Here's N. ovata:
N. globosa enjoying highland...
Here's what I'm looking for:

N. ampullaria vars.
N. northiana

N. globosa
N. hurrelliana
N. sibuyanensis

And a question I have is, are all of these species safe/legal to trade or purchase due...
Hi I'm currently hunting for N. hamata. If I have a choice I'd prefer seed grown or cutting from a seed grown plant, but am not bound by this completely. Anyone's help would be GREATLY appreciated.
This is what I have to offer (Pretty open on what I'd Trade, even multipuls-possibly:

Life is good in the nep room these days. We've had consistent cool, foggy weather, and in those conditions I can close up the grow room and get it to about 80 degrees. I open it up at night and it drops to 52 or so. Everyone seems to like it, so I went a bit nuts with the camera.
Here are some...
Hi guys. I did have a trade worked out (sort of) for this but the person hasn't gotten back to me and the plant isn't growing as fast as it should in the basement. It's a healthy, 3 inch grade B+ plant. I'm looking for a highlander.

EDIT: Could a mod move this please? Sorry...
There comes a time in every boy's life when he gets his first Hummer. I got mine today :banana2:
I'd like to thank the man who gave me this Hummer at such a good price! I won't reveal his name, because I don't want everyone to bug him for cheap Hummers.
GIANT HUMMER! Ok...
I received this globosa a couple of days ago.
I planted it in a very fast draining mix.
My lowland mini greenhouse gets to 90F day 68F night with 60% humidity day 85% night.
I know it's not optimal but I'm hoping that the nep will adapt.

View outside right now.

Hi Everybody,
I traded for a N. Globosa about 7cm across. It's leaves are turning brown only on the edges and the new leaves of the plant are pale. Currently I keep it in my lowland terrarium where the humidity is above 90%. I keep the plant in a bit of water. The temps...

Finally, after a year of growing CPs, I figured it was time.
I want to write an article pretty soon...
Maybe a short guide to growing N. globosa, as I have not seen one around anywhere, and my success with the species is from trial and error.
Or, maybe in a few months, an article on if its...
