    2 new neps

I recently got a N. truncata (m clone) and a N. gentle. Whats the difference between a truncata and a truncata m clone? If there is a difference, what are they and do you have any pictures? And what is N. gentle? The only information I got from the store was that it grows big. What does this...

I've finally got my first upper pitcher, from my rather scraggly N. x Gentle... You can compare it to the lower pitcher... And finally my latest N. x Miranda pitcher; the plant seems to be going from strength to strength

    Light acclimation

Hi All,     So I've constructed a new terrarium, 4' long x 2' deep x 2' high. It's lit by six 40W flourescent bulbs (the bulbs themselves are pretty old; will gradually upgrade to new T8s soon) and fully Mylar-ed. Here's the question... my Maxima, Ventrata, Ventricosa and Gracilis are currently...

Help!  my pygmys are being choked by moss

I hate carpet moss, especially in my pygmy Drosera pots. I usually avoid its appearance by making sure all my potting media are well rinsed, removing all trace nutrients that would encourage their growth. I've mentioned how I let the weather of the season do my work, by pre-preparing my pots...

    Some hybrid pics

Hey, here are some hybrid pics from this evening: First, someone mentioned crossing N. x gentle with N. x Rokko down below. Here's a pic of the N. x Rokko part, an upper pitcher: Next, here's N. x Efllugent Koto. These things last forever and keep looking good: Next, I posted a pitcher...

    I lost my cobra lily

I took my cobra lily home from work and decided to anchor it to the edge of the streamlet running behind our townhouse. you know - cool roots, fresh air, sunshine. All was going well until this persistent rain finally caused the water level of the streamletto rise, causing the gentle flow to...

Can anyone help me in identifying this nep?

    Worlds Most Rare Drosera

Here is Drosera anglica as it first appeared in the distant past, in the dawn of its creation when the first fertile seeds of an otherwise sterile hybrid fell from a seed pod and grew. I am often asked what is the most rare plant in my collection, and this would be it.  The plant was produced...
