Just thought id share a couple pics of my newest, N. reinwardtiana pitcher, the plant was grown in full sun and the leaf is a dark redish color. i moved it to partial sun/shade now and its newest leaf is green lol, so it only has that one red leaf.
Id also like to say the n. alata...
You've seen 'em, and now you want 'em for yourself!
Well folks, I'm happy to say that my amateur attempts at sketching have received some (positive) comments. :) So now, I'm taking species requests for Nepenthes and Heliamphora.
Rules of the Game:
1. Only one species at a time.
2. Once the...

Picked up these little guys at the LACPS meeting today.
This is the hybrid I've wanted to get my hands on for some time. I had an opportunity many months ago to get it, but a certain forum member, who shall remain nameless, stole it from me ;)
Anyhoo, when I heard there'd be another one at the...

Warning: I am not the best at following scientific nomenclature/annotation. If this is of an annoyance to you, please do not read on... :)
I would also like to take a moment to thank everyone who has contributed to the below growlist. Whether it be through generous...
I have divisions of H. heterodoxa "Gran Sabana Giant", and H. ionasii "Triplett Clone" available
for trade. These divisions have mature pitchers, and both varieties are unusual and very colorful.
In return, I'm seeking divisions of any of the following, ideally with mature pitchers:

Hello Friends,

I was checking out the sundew section of Bob Z's photo finder and found a ton of species that I've never even heard of, particularly south american species. Here are some of the better ones I found.
Drosera arenicola, from South Venezuela...
There seems to be a great deal of needless mystique attributed to growing Heliamphora and I am not sure why this should be the case. Growers who will readily cultivate all manner of highland Nepenthes, once only the purview of Kew Gardens and some wealthy nineteenth-century whack-jobs, will...
Three weeks of being involved with the Singapore Garden Festival...then the week after, I went for an operation. Last week, I finally have a chance to take a look after my plants and take some photos.
A month of not pruning and neatening the mess at my balcony...
N. albomarginata...
All plants have since been "murdered." Top section for reference
Please see "Updated growlist 2015" for new collection below =)

It has been in the 80's here for more than a few weeks(with nights in the 70s), so I moved all my neps out from their winter resting on a cramped set of grow racks in the garage to their outdoor shaded area. Now I see that it will dip into the low 40's and maybe even to 38 by Sunday night...
Soon the monsoon rain will be over and path the way for a hot and warm months ahead.
The heavy rain flooded many lowland and neps that lie in the area were partially submerge, a strange landscape transformed.
It's interesting to note that the onslaught of monsoon rain, the occassional heavy...

Hey all. This is my Rafflesiana V. Elongata I just got recently. The growth tip was snapped along with some leaves during shipping. I left them on there in case the plant was able to pull its nutrients from the dying parts. I'm not sure if Neps can do this, but I know many other types of plants...
Whaddup everyone. I'm Daniel. I figured I'd introduce myself as I plan on becoming an active member of this forum. To be honest, this is the first forum I have ever participated in, and as such I am a forum newb too. My main interest in CP's are Nepenthes, but I have a few Cephalotus F. plants...
