I have plants in various stages of bloom right now and Im strongly considering crossing these 2. Has anyone tried it yet? If so, did it produce viable seed?
Thanks
Steve

I used a communal Q-tip for pollinating my D. capensis flowers, (alba) and (typical). What happens when the two are crossed. My seedlings have sprouted but so far they all look like (alba) to me. When does the (typical) begin to show red or has anyone tried crossing these before and know what...
Sorry about poor quality image. Could this possibly be U. flava popping up or is the photo too poor to guess? I only had 3 seeds and the little green fleck popped up in the general vicinity of where I had placed 1 of the 3 seeds. Crossing my fingers and hoping it is a baby utricularia.

I noticed last night that my khasiana is sending up a spike. I know this plant is female so if anyone out there has a male coming into spike I am game to try a crossing. I personally don't care if it is pure blood or hybrid. The "stud" will get half the resulting seed.
PM me if you have anything
Hey, here are some hybrid pics from this evening:
First, someone mentioned crossing N. x gentle with N. x Rokko down below. Here's a pic of the N. x Rokko part, an upper pitcher:
Next, here's N. x Efllugent Koto. These things last forever and keep looking good:
Next, I posted a pitcher...

Hi all,
I have a few seed packets I'd like to trade with anybody that may be interested.
I'm basically interested in seed of other Drosera species but you can offer anything else and I may be interested (except Sarras, they take up too much space!).
Here's the list-

Hi guys,
I was mucking around in the greenhouse a couple of days ago and thought I'd have a go at pollinating a few Utrics. I'd never tried before and had been told by various growers that it can be very difficult to fertilize the flowers.
Anyway, several of my U. dichotoma forms, U...

It looks like I have a chance to cross-pollinate P. esseriana with P. moranesis var. caudata this weekend. Is this a viable cross? And if so, has anyone here done it?
I'm planning on polinating 2 VFTs this spring. I was wondering if the two plants I'm planning to cross does not flower simulataneously, then is there a way to preserve the pollen of one plant's flower so I could pollenate the other when the flower opens? Oh ya and how could I tell when the...
