A couple of my Sarracenia are starting to send up their flower buds, and I figure I might as well try my hand at propagation since I have some interesting plants this time around. My Sarracenia alata "Black Tube" has surprised me by making two buds, and though unfortunately I don't have another...
I have very limited indoor growing room and most of my CPs are Sarracenia. However, I like the looks of Nepenthes and finally broke down and got 3 in two different trades last year. I got the 'Singapore Gardentech' late in Spring and I got the two Viking crosses (one with truncata, the other...
Just one of my Sarracenia crosses.
Using the simple paper towel method and snack bags as I always do.
Just folded the above damp paper towel over the seeds.
And off into the snack bag. I tape the empty seed packet to the bag and date it.
This is my second round of seeds for the season...
Hi TFers,
My first Genlisea growing effort was semi-successful but ultimately the plants didn't make it. So... I'd like to get a fresh start of a Genlisea to give it another go.
Please check out my grow list and see if there might be something that would be a fair trade.
I have a TON of...

Hi there,
I have a Sabre (ventricosa x Trusmadiensis) that I'm looking to trade for other TM crosses or stuff with nice peristomes. This will be an unrooted cutting, fully grown about 10" in diameter. This particular clone takes after lowii more than other Sabres, so it has a winder pitcher...
I have a a 5 seedgrown N.viking x truncata and 5 N.trichocarpa x viking up for trade...both crosses are about 2in across and I'll trade them for anything on my wantlist.
Here is a pic of some of the viking x truncata crosses...I can post a pic of the trichocarpa x viking on request.
I have 2 unrooted cuttings available. Both mother plants were obtained by sheer luck. Looking for neps I don't have. Thinking toothy, or striped. x TM crosses are cool. Nothing ventricosa please..

Hey all,
I've been spending a lot of time the last couple days focusing on problems, so I wanted to put up a couple pics of some of my happy plants. Here's my n. lowii x campanulata. I just love lowii crosses. This one is still pretty young, but I think it's looking really good. And a...
I wanted to share some pictures I took today of some Nepenthes that were looking good in the Meadowview greenhouse. Meadowview's Nepenthes collection is comprised of donation by generous members.

Hey folks -
I know it's a common cultivar, but if anyone is interested, I have a Nepenthes 'Miranda' that's flowering right now. I'd be happy to send the pollen away to anyone interested in making crosses involving this popular and robust cultivar. A few seed in return if it produces any would...
For some reason three of my sarracenias have decided to flower in midsummer: S. alata, 'W.C.' and 'Super Green Giant.' The blooms opened within three days of each other and I saw at least two interesting potential hybrids among them. I made the crosses this afternoon but now I'm wondering do...

BE just announced that seed-grown individuals will be available:
I think I'm even more excited about these than the N. ventricosa x hamata that are just hitting the market. Makes me curious what other hamata crosses they have coming down the line.
Will be harvesting some D. "1955" x 'Jaws' and vice versa this weekend and next. Will have some extra for trade. I'm looking for VFT seed from crosses you have conducted in 2011. PM if interested. Thanks.
I had originally intended to offer divisions of Heliamphora "Tequila" for the NASC auction, but life somehow interfered -- and who the hell is the NASC anyway and why should they get a thin dime from us?
There, I said it.
Anyway, I have five or so divisions -- which may or may not have roots...
