I am so lucky. After about 2 weeks from the inspection station to me, the seeds have finally arrived! To celebrate, I am giving away 5 Cephalotus "Eden Black" x Self seeds away to a lucky winner who can guess what breed, my dog Jack is! So please have fun and everyone is allowed 2 guesses. I am...
My dubia roaches are reproducing MUCH faster than one adult bearded dragon can eat. Teddy is about to start brumating (reptile hibernation), so these roaches must be thinned.
I am offering 100 adults, 40 males and 60 females, plus all the contents of one over-laden egg crate. This will probably...
So I've noticed some tiny orange spots on the leaves of some of my plants... theyre only on older leaves, so I'm unsure if its rust fungus thing or not. Here's some pictures, the spots might be hard to see as theyre so small and my camera is ridiculously bad at close ups... Thanks for any...
Hey all,
Just thought I'd put up some pics of my Ceph and a couple Helis (heterodoxa x minor, and a tiny nutans). The heterodoxa x minor is about to be divided, so I figured I'd put up the pic in case I kill it. Thanks for looking, any comments/questions always appreciated!

As I am thinking about moving my Heliamphora and Cephalotus in to terrarium, can they be in the same terrarium? I am pretty new to both, so bare with me.
Are not their temperature and humidity requirements different for both?
Also Helis can sit in small amounts of water, but Ceph. do not like...
D. erythrorhiza ssp. squamosa (Albany Hwy)
D. peltata 'White Flower'
D. sp. 'Carbarup'
I'll just toss these in. Ever order a hot fudge sundae from McDonald's? Container works great as a propagation chamber for dews, ceph leaves, etc.
Hi,
Just got in a shipment of orchids and can easily take a few divisions if anyone is interested in trading. Short list.
Oncidium cheirophorum
Bulbophyllum fraudulentum
Diplocaulobium tipuliferum 'Wilber' - this one is approx. 12" tall
Bulbophyllum pardalotum 'Stripe'
Pleurothallis...
I am looking for different species of cephs to add to my colection. I have large nepenthes for trade of multiple species, and pics can be given upon request. If anyone has some HG or other species and took any leaf pullings over the years let me know and we can hopefully come to an agreement
I know it's a little early, but I just want to be prepared what do i do with my (tiny) ceph during the winter months, I know they need some sort of resting period, but what conditions does it need to be in, in order for it to go into that "resting period".
Thanks

Yeah, I know was originally planning on getting a Ceph, but I decided I'd hold off on that for the time being since I have a few trips planned and it would be too easy for someone to water it wrong and kill it (making it either too dry or too wet, watering it with tapwater, etc). So I decided to...
Anyone have any miraculous, life saving tips to give me? :-(
Every part of the media mix was pre-rinsed, I was careful not to break off any roots, let the roots dry out, etc.. It was potted in LFS, which I carefully peeled away a bit at a time from its roots. It wasn't very grown into it so it...
Mr. Kristoff was kind enough to give me this little ceph recently and I never got quite around to taking photos of it.. Well I just repotted it into a bigger pot to grow into, and am trying out a rather complex potting mix recipe that Butch and others have had success with. 6 parts Peat, 5 parts...
i have a nepenthes truncata that im looking to trade, i'd be willing to trade for a a HG ceph, or highland neps, just send me an offer!
this is the plant
Thanks
So.. I've been thinking about this for awhile. And Brokken's most recent updates have fueled my want to get this underway. I want to lessen the light intensity from my T5's. My moss is burning, my plants are slighty sun burnt, and I feel they'd grow and pitcher better with less INTENSE light. My...
Ran out of room in my ceph tray.. so I have a pot with two different Cephalotus 'Hummer's Giants' up for trade. Considering stuff from my want list, and stripey neps. If I've only got one, I'd consider bringing in a second of the same species depending on the nep.
*pics added later on.
Im looking for some more smaller plants for terrarium, i have some larger nepenthes for trade. Im pretty much looking for ceph species, pings and dews. I have a large nepenthes maxima hybrid in vine and a few others.
