IIRC this seedling is getting close to 3 years old......what has me excited is that bout 6 months ago you could have mistook it for livida, its been growing by leaps and bounds.....the seed originated from 'Pitter Moon'
I need to trimming the graminifolia in my paludarium, its trying to get a foot hold in the water and I can't allow that :nono:. It will be atleast 1" X 1" of a portion size (well probably more, I won't really know for sure until I cut it out). Added a picture of the paludarium area the...
Utricularia graminifolia up for trade, it is currently growing in a 3 oz solo cup emersed.

[EDIT: I just realized a lot of these photos are blurry from the wind, sorry.]
Thought I'd post an update here.
Despite what many people say about these plants, they all grow quite fast for me. I'm growing them mostly live sphag, with the exception of my reniformis (not shown here) and...

Up for auction is a decent start of Utricularia alpina. This is one of the larger growing Utrics. Mine is currently growing in a mix of LFS and perlite and is really starting to take off. I water a couple times a week or when the LFS starts to get dry. This plant has just established itself...
After 4 years of growing this plant, it has finally flowered for me. I credit transplanting it in a good "orchid" pot with numerous holes, filled predominately with LFS and perlite, with a top dressing of live sphagnum moss. Photo period is currently set to 14 hours of light a day. These are...

Research Growing Epiphytic Utrics
Hi all,
I've been looking around for epiphytic utrics for a while now. Epiphytic utrics are apparently difficult to grow. In the wild they grow on mossy rock faces with “bare peat and sphagnum” , shaded by trunks and branches. Water dries up...
