Wire Man's Plants

There is so much to like! 'Nice photography, too. I really enjoyed the pics of the mini-bog. I hope mine looks a fraction that nice when things have matured.

The naga my look cute now, but it'll be a beast in a few years. That mini bog is only 2 years old. It filled in so fast!
N. lavicola is seed grown, got it as a gift from Mike. I'm hoping it's female so I can make some new hybrids with mind blowing colors and shapes. Miranda is peaceful for now, until it gets huge.

Oh wow how did I miss your pics! Gorgeous - I imagine in 3 years we're going to see all sorts of baby nagas flying around all over the place from those who managed to nab and sprout those seed

And man, what is the world coming to.. I can actually identify P.cyclosecta now

I've been busy with work. I'm off for a week due to sciatica, so I figured why not finish up these photos?
P. cyclosecta is an easy one! Not many other Pings have that purple pigmentation.

Here we go.

The U. multifida is a pretty one, but cross pollinating them by hand to get seed is a pain. I do love how robust the rugelii is, and the Japanese maple really makes the colors kick.

I never know which plants to comment on from your posts. There are always numerous that I really like. The lighting on the S. flava rugelii is very nice and makes them look like they are florescent. And the Psygmorchis flower is just amazing.

The Psygmorchis is almost always in flower. It's opening its 3rd one right now.

Now if the giant raff would make a pitcher....

S. purpurea Caroline Co. VA are looking great WM:).

Wow, those have grown a lot! Nice variability in this population. I'm seeing the same thing with mine.

In other news, the Psygmorchis has managed to put out 2 flowers at once, overlapping each other.

I have some bad news. I lost my job a few days ago and I had to get rid of my entire Sphagnum collection, the N. rafflesianas, and a lot more will have to go soon. If my appeal doesn't go through or I can't find a new job then I'll have to get rid of my giant day gecko as well. This is an upsetting time for me, especially right after the ICPS conference.

NOT THE SPHAGNUM MOSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope you dont have to get rid of your day gecko man! Maybe someone nearby can care for it for a while??
