Why do I always draw cool things on scratch paper!?

All of these are on scrap pieces of paper, urghhhhh. I never think to pull out my sketchbook.

I mean, I should probably be working while I'm at work, but, uh, yeah.

because drawing in a sketchbook leads to higher anxiety due to expectations? at least that's it for me....i do better on single sheets than in a sketch book.

some of my best drawings have been spontaneous and on random things as well... when i sit down to draw something, it usually turns out less to my liking :lol:

very nice drawings you got there.

Yeah, it's just so frustrating.
I can't sell a piece of receipt paper with a drawing on it. XD

How am I ever going to make it as an artist of all of my good stuff is on junk? D:

I like to practice brushwork on napkins. It is the best material with just the right absorbency to them. Maybe scratch paper has qualities that expensive paper doesn't?

@raymond:
I've never been very good at replicating my work and remaining happy with it. The original always ends up being better.
