Welcome home surprise

Hi all,
I recently returned home after 8 months I've been away for work just to find out that the person responsible for taking care of my CPs ignored most of my specific instructions and watered everything with tap water. My collection consists of Sarracenia, Drosera, VFT and nepenthes. To my surprise, ALL the plants seem to be in very good condition. Some seem to be even better.

Should I continue to use tap water or switch to distilled?

Have your tap water tested to see what the Total Dissolved Solids are. If less than 100 ppm, ideally less than 50 ppm then continue to use it. Test regularly as municipal water sources can vary.

Wouldn't hurt to switch to distilled, at the very least it'll flush out any minerals from the tap water that may have built up.
