Wasp Shots

[sarracenia]

I noticed this wasp earlier this evening on some Sarracenia seedlings. It was moving very slowly, due to the temperature, I assume, although it wasn't that cold. Maybe 55 degrees outside. Anyway, he let me get some nice close-ups, and I was even able to pet it. Maybe it was drunk on nectar.

55 degrees...man it was 92 or so here. It was hot and the air was not moving. Horrible

Nice pictures! That 2nd one really shows the eyes really well. I find them every so often on mine as well, today though this one didn't get as lucky...

he was VERY lethargic. moving in slow motion would be the best way to describe it.
