Utricularia calycifida in flower

The picture just does not do the flowers justice....This is easily in my top 10 Utric.

We need more Utric pictures!

Very nice. :) I would love to, but my D. dichotoma just doesn't want to flower anymore.

Congrats. I'll post pics of my longifolia flowers in a few weeks/couple months.

That's a nice picture, actually. Here's what I had from 2006:

Hey, atsa niiiiiice. Makes me miss my plants, so thanks for sharing.

As an aside, my U. dichotoma stopped flowering too. I divided the clone and put half of it outdoors in a totally aquatic setting. By seasons end the outdoor plant produced about 30 scapes. Got to do it slow or they burn, but WOW what a show!

When I first got this plant it was tiny, like 1/4" or so. So I potted it up in a 3 oz plastic solo cup. Well it flowered very well in that little cup but I decided it could use some more space this morning. When I pulled it out this is what I saw. Looks like I'll be making some divisions!

Oh, wow. That's very cool! Thanks for sharing. I wonder it would be if I unpotted my utrics. o_O

Yeah, they like to ugly leaves around the edges of their pots, underneath the soil.

But fortunately the aphids can't seem to find them as easily.

Ever tried pollenating them?
