Was this done in google earth? Too bad he stopped maintaining his database.




Um.. as I have mentioned in the original post custom icons tend to make the map rather cluttered:

Lets please use the default placemarker shape as it seems to be optimised for the map.

eew..yeah, I agree..not a fan of the custom markers..pretty ugly, and junks up the map significantly..if whoever made those could please switch them back, it would be appreciated..

If while placing your marker you have accidentally moved somebody else (their marker) to a different location, don't panic, notice that on top of the map a warning highlighted in yellow appears:

Click on Undo and the marker will be returned back.

Just checked it and it worked for me. The description was removed though, copy pasted it . hehe

I tried to follow your directions but it wasn't working. Someone mentioned right clicking, so I tried that and it worked.

Oh ok, I see. I'll add it to the description. This essentially combines steps 2 and 3

ummmm...I think I have some French in me, I was told we were prolly released from a jail in France near a town called Denis,`and told to leave the country on a boat.
