Micke, GregNY and pygo somehow your markers are in the middle of nowhere (ocean?) :) is this intended to be this way or someone moved it?

Missed the post discouraging it, did it on purpose, and someone has changed it.

Yep you can. You can click on the pin and drag it somewhere else. Make sure that you click UNDO if that happens (explained in the first post) :)
The map is editable by anyone who has its link. You just have to be signed in into google services when you view it to change it.
