I was up in the greenhouse and couldn't miss a photo opportunity with my first 6" (15cm) N. edwardsiana pitcher.

Here you go..

Thanks
-Jeremiah-

As usual, I am in awe... Wow, that is indeed perfection!

Thanks for sharing, Jeremiah!

Awesome pitcher Jeremiah! It is absolutely awesome, I just love this species! I can see it has grown up quite nicely, do you mind getting a picture of the whole plant, I would love to see it :)

Stunning!
Great job growing this and all your other neps!

I just looked through all my photos I took and it does not looks like I got one of the whole plant. Next time I get the camera out I will make sure to to snap one.

For now here was the best I could find.

That is pretty good! I really like the red stem.

Stunning.

It's reassuring to see someone be able to keep these plants so well in a greenhouse here in Colorado. I'll have a greenhouse... some day. XP

Absolutely wonderful :hail: .. and I see you took the opportunity to K.O. the pitcher of the month over at pitcherplants

That thing is FANTABULOUS! :awesome:

Normally I'm no fan of a ridiculous amount of shots depicting the same pitcher at slightly different angles, but...

In this case it is totally acceptable. Definitely worth sharing!! What a beautiful plant.

Wow, that is breathtaking...

BTW...u say that is teenage....how many teen years is that? 13y old plant?? That is insanity...seems like it is a very slow species...even compared to something like a villosa.

  • #19
Oh by teenager I meant midway between seedling and adult, it is closers to 5 years old.

ditto dexenthes. I was showing my friend pictures of "my hobby" the other day and the response I got was, "what? Photoshopping plants?" Since then I've been laughing every time I see a picture of a showy nep and other cp because they really do look so... well... fake!

Excellent work jeremiah!
