So you think your pitcher is big.....

That 'mid-rib' is also very significant & makes me wonder if the pitcher is indeed still growing?

The pitcher is not inflating anymore, and if any, it is negligible. The opening of the lid is the only attribute that is still in flux, but I believe that too, is near its end. As it sits, the pitcher length from lid to bottom is 10.1 cm or 4 inches.

The wide midrib is characteristic of the Hummer's giant as you mentioned in an older thread. Here are two pitchers on the same plant (representative of normal pitcher size for this plant), and as you can see they have long ceased inflating, despite the wide midrib. This one does whatever it desires, according to its own whims, to spite me - of course.

omg, and you have finger length that would make jimi hendrix jealous....

now we know what is happening to those missing orphans on the way to grandma's house, wasn't a wolf, or a chupacabra.... it was jenalotus

Impressive indeed! My cephalotus is flowering too, although no thanks to me (it was already doing it when I got it).
