Hey. Plant of the Month works. I won't knock it, I think it's better to mash them all together than alienate the various genera.

hope you dont mind thez.

I'd like to enter my D. capillaris seedling.

Beautiful Plant, Mato. I wish I could have got my seeds to sprout. I'll definitely give it another go in the spring.

I wandered around among the plants outside (I'll have all winter to take pics of those inside) and finally chose this S. rosea from Baldwin County, AL. I think the colors are off as they were more vibrant in reality than what showed up on the screen.

The tray, with all it's neighbors (3 different montana's, 3 luteola clones, 2 rosea (including this one) and the venosa "Brunswick Beauty"). Looks like I need to break it up & give them each their own pot... ???

S.purpurea ssp venosa....I suspect it may be growing on a radioactive meteorite. :suspect:

Words can't express how happy I am that you enter these contests because your plants are just simply superb. I'm still waiting for a tantalizing shot of your seeming acres of D.prolifera  (that is what it was at the bottom of the Utric tank, yeah?)
