N. aristolochiodes is known for being a slooooow grower, and quite petite. Some of its hybrids are better plants, and of course, more tolerant of a variety of climates. I have two clones of aristolochiodes x spectabilis, and one of my favorite Neps, thorellii x aristolochiodes. see pic here:
