Thought I'd show that even if I have a brown thumb with S. purpurea, ther are a few CPs that will grow for me. They probably do it out of sympathy.

The first pitcher of the unknown Sarracenia I got from Dyflam's giveaway last March

The U. nelumbifolia I got in the silent auction at the CCPS meeting in May 2006.

And last a few pics of some sundews

This guy looks a little bedraggled because of all the cottonwood seed that has been sticking to it.

No, no, not cotton weed seed. Cottonwood tree seed. There's a lot of them in this area and some times there is so much cotton seed blowing around, it looks like a snow storm.

Brown thumb my A.....I WISH I could grow D. indica like those. Very nice indeed. That's one species of Drosera that likes me not at all. The red coloration is beautiful!
