Didn't realize sarrs exhibited that squishing of the pitcher lid like some of the lowii hybrids.

Not sure that I'm following you here. Which one/ones are you referring to ?

Ah yes. Reptilian Rose is a very unusual and spectacular hybrid. It's got it all....... Stunning color, huge ruffled lid, impressive height. Really terrific morphology all around. I'll make sure to get a division to you at some point if you want one.

Yeah, it's really beautiful, even for someone who doesn't know much at all about the genus.

I'd love one. I'll be dividing my sarrs this winter and should have some great things to send in turn.

Dude, great update! Hardly a speck of green on that robcantleyi and I bet it could drown a rat.

How big is the diatas?

Your eymae x ephippiata looks like it has some size on mine, but the pitchers look a bit different. I'll post some comparison pics soon.

Yeah man, we missed you ! The diatas is still recovering from the vacation disaster so that pitcher is fairly small. It's starting to get that hourglass shape to them though.

Diggin' the gulfensis. Gives me something to look forward to with mine.

Ssp. gulfensis is without a doubt my favorite rubra. It brings a lot of great characteristics into it's hybrids too.

mine is the ancestral form of gulfensis. is that any different than yours?

I'm not sure what form mine is. I actually got it as a freebie from Mike Wang.
