Brand spanking new seed grown hamata. This plant was germinated by Jeremiah Harris who got the seeds randomly in the mail . In my opinion it really looks like it is from Gunung Katopassa and not Gunung Lumut because the leaf shape looks different than the lumut clones.

Here you can see the pitcher:size ratio of my two sg hamatas. Also, a lot of variation which is why I love seedgrowns:

I am fairly certain this is gonna inflate:

This is the nicest pitcher my H. "tequila" has put out for me so far. The first pic is a little foggy because the humidifier was on:

Here you can see some of the annoying black soot mold on the older pitchers... I have no idea how to get rid of it:

Theres more than one hamata seed mishap...I heard of a guy that was given seeds from a beginner who told him that he was supposed to get drosera capensis instead from a vendor and that there was a big mixup and he didn't want the seeds...turns out they were little hamatas

LOL, that N. hamata is awesome! The pitcher is like 400x the size of the plant. Epic.

Mold is scary, but everything else looks quite happy. Good growin'.

Thanks, I looked up the sooty mold and it is harmless growth on the nectar... its pretty much just an eyesore and a very annoying one at that.

I used captan to get rid of sooty mold...didn't seem to hurt the helis or neps
