Thanks all... We ended up rehoming a dog and called it my bday gift since we had such an expense getting her and everything she needed... She's a 7month old coated German Shepard with lazy ears (they do stand up often though... well, one does )

Bringing her home from about 70 miles away

after a walk around the neighborhood the next morning

That day must have been hard on her, I took a shower and came out to find this

This was taken a couple days ago to send to her mommy with an update of how she's doing... (we were swimming she was watching over us)
