Decided to start a new pic thread since it's been awhile since I updated pics here (although regulars in chat will have probably seen most of them at one point or another).

Guess we'll start with the indoor stuff:

Half of the large terrarium, full of Sarr seedlings from seed sown last year:

The other half, full of Darlingtonia and some other things:

My measly Ping collection, such as it is. Counter-clockwise from left; P. esseriana, NoID, P. moctezumae

And I think that will do for this first post. ;)

Those are beautiful plants, indeed. Very well-grown!

And I may have said this before: even more than the plants, though, I like your VIEW! Holy CRAP!

Haha, yeah the view is nice. Pretty much the only thing this place has going for it. :p

Since it turned into a nice day, figured I'd take a few pics outdoors while I groomed the Sarrs.

Beautiful collection! All that lush Sphagnum makes me drool... the vascular plants are pretty cool, too.

Where in Virginia are you? I grew up in Blacksburg and really miss living among mountains.

South-Central VA, about an hour south of Roanoke, just across the NC border.

Definitely some beautiful plants, I can't wait to see the rest of them!

Not what most would consider photograph worthy, but I like the stuff:

U. bisquamata:

Some VFT seedlings, about 3-4 weeks old:

Beautiful. I'm just starting to expand past VFT's so much of this is new. Are Utricularia grown mostly for their flowers? There's an aquatic plant store right by my house that sells a few varieties.

That is correct. They tend to be quite small though.

Can hardly believe my last update was in October of last year! It's not due to laziness, I swear! XD I guess I just don't feel like sharing every pic I take.

But now, all the outdoor plants are starting to come alive, and thus, 'tis the season of photos:

These Sarrs want very badly to be Nepenthes, apparently. :p
