They were from a gallery / shop in Kona right on the strip in Ali'i Drive. The artist typically does orchids, but had a number of ampullaria-like ones.

This one was labeled as "118," I looked it up in Sam's database and it said "'Splendiana' x 'Ile de France' - 'St. Aeneas'" but I may have misread the columns for the father. I'll double check w him next time I'm down there.

Singalana x Clipeata - 'Terpsichore'

Spectabilis grown from seed by Sam. He had just crossed a female 'Caesar' with the pollen from this plant, can't wait to see how that turns out!

I have the same hybrid (N. Caesarion). I received the plant in september and it hasn't pitcher since...because I'm an idiot. When I was taking it out of its packaging I accidentally popped off a developing pitcher, and then I did it again trying to take it out of the terrarium for a pic . It's now developing its third pitcher in my care and it looks like its going to be a big one. I'm super excited to see it develop now that I've seen that fantastic pic.

What are your conditions like? Seems like you have had great success growing a wide range of nepenthes.

They are pretty intermediate conditions. Right now the lows are in the upper 50s and highs are in the low 80s. I'm on the Hamakua Coast at a 1000' elevation in a grassland section that gets lots of wind, and the nightly rains (if the trades are typical). I grow on the West side of our house, so limited hours of light w 20% shade tarp, some wind protection, and misting for 1 minute in the morning and night for the winter. In the summer I'll add probably 20% more shade cloth and have my misters on 4-6 times per day for a short period of time. I also fertilize once a month w a root drench of Epiphyte's Delight. My Amp and Bical certainly don't like it now, but everything else is doing great this winter.
