Brie's CP photo thread

brie , just skimmed this thread great plants by the way , i love the glass flytrap stakes in the first few pics, any chance you would give up where you got those , did you make them , can i get some ?
are they even available

A small update.. I repotted all of the SA dew seedlings into more adult sized pots, and used that "professional grade" coarse peat.. So far no shock at all and they dew'd right back up.. BUT, after repotting and putting everything side by side, looks like the kaeiteurensis and felix are both spatulata... Bummer. Stupid vendor, never buying crap from them again.

Ok, in a pic taking mood so here's some more snapped real quick with my phone... I gotta say, the camera on the Galaxy S3 really is good for a phone cam. And the latest updates made it even better and more controllable.

Petiolaris tank.. falconeri are running rampant, they really need seperated and repotted. My two biggest plants in their own pot decided to split into a bunch of plants and are just jammed in a cluster.

I just felt as though I were walking through an art gallery. These are all extremely impressive, Brie. Makes me realize how horrible I am at growing them!

Great stuff Brie, queen of dew growing! Loving your Petiolaris dews and that P. cyclosecta is gorgeous.

The petiolaris dews are far from hard to grow. You just have to keep them hot and humid, which is super easy. I just have a seedling heat mat under the tank, and the lights do the rest during the day.

Someday I will have a proper inside setup, but for now I am happy living vicariously through your pics, I am still struggling to keep a regia alive inside the house, pathetic.

Those are adelae... Thats what they do in higher light.. They turn dark red, more compact and with skinny leaves. When my ex was taking care of my plants while I moved, he did something to the timer so that the plants were getting 22 hours of light a day for.. months. I only discovered it once I got my plants back and plugged everything in. So a fair amount of my pings and sundews were reeaaaalllyy pissed off. Most of them are recovering.. The adelae are still kinda pissed.

It's not just your amazing collection or your horticultural abilities that impress me but your presentation is so nice. Doesn't hurt that you are such a good photographer either.

Well my D. schizandra decided to propegate itself.. Apparently its just like adelae when the roots are exposed to any light at all.. I contemplated leaving them where they were, at the base of the adult plant, in the moss jar.. But they were really struggling due to the lack of light, totally sheltered by the adult schiz's leaves.. So I clipped off the root, cut the babies apart and put them in pots.. So far they seem to be doing ok. A couple are dewing back up..

Spectacular plants Brie. I love how clean your pings/dews and their pots are. Very very nice. :D I can't wait for the day when I can make a setup like that. for all CPs. :D

D. graminifolia seedlings. So far im pretty sure these are true graminifolia and not spiralis, as their leaves unfurl in a perfect spiral.

Some of the Pings.. Sadly my gypsicola think its time to go dormant, because I keep having to turn off the plant lights due to the room/plant shelves massively overheating during the really hot days... Arrggg...
