Anyone need a fan for a grow tank?

I went to the science store and they made a fan for me. They thing is they made it too powerful. We got mixed up somewhere I think. So now I have a fan I can't take back and right now really can't use. So if anyone wants/needs it send me a pm and we can work something out. Maybe a cheap sundew or Sarracenia. Nothing too special. What I'm really looking for is a Irish butterwort, just because I'm an Irish guy.

You could try lowering the voltage going to the fan. If you're using a 12v adapter to power the fan, find a 9v and wire that on there and it'll go slower.

jmurphy97,

If you like tinkering with electronics, I would suggest a pulse width modulation type of fan control... very efficient and adjustable

here is a DIY on the subject
