Hey everyone -
I just got back from the ICPS conference. What an absolutely GREAT time it was.
The best part for me was meeting the people in person who I know from online groups like these Terraforums or the CP Listserve.
There were many presentations including one Andreas Wistuba gave on...

Hi,
If anybody wants to know more about it...
A few years ago I started being worried about my N. insignis (Biak, clone from Wistuba) as in a Botanic Garden I found the same plant labeled as a hybrid. On the same day Wistuba ensured me that he had collected the seeds of his plants personally...
not much to look at this month because of some evil brown spots. I just sprayed w/ zyban, and alliette so that should do the trick(fingers crossed)
Here are a few less effected though

you can see the evil spots in this picture

Hi all,
had this insignis for a while now, but never really read any literature on it. one of my favourite plants, it was bought from BE last year. Can anyone help me identify the form? I know Wistuba shows 2 distict forms : Biak and Tayeve.

Can the leaves help to ID them too...
I hope you guys can help me. I bought a N.anamensis from Wistuba about 6 months ago.
But I dont know if its for sure N.anamensis because on the pictures I have seen of Anamensis the pitchers is purplish.
Though my plant from Wistuba aint purplish at all. It looks exactly like this one. (hope...

I do believe (since I reserved one ) that N. ampullaria tricolors are now availible at a hortus nursery. I can't wait til I get mine, as it will be my first ampullaria! ... Actualy, I had an ampullaria giant from Wistuba, but that died long long ago. But in the mean time, since I gave you such...
here are a few more pics to add to the fray ;)
notice the difference in the hamata clones. As they mature, I am really surprised by the variabilty between the different clones. Seems like no two are the same. After seeing the hairy hamata, it makes you wonder how many other types are out there...
Hi,
This spring a gave my N. viking to a friend, that species is too fast and too big for me, and it likes plenty of full sun, that I don't have. At our Italian cp annual meeting I saw the same plant with 4 flower spikes.
Even if I'm planning to visit Thailand in January (including the Aopanga...
I bought the plant named in the topic form Wistuba at spring. It was labeled "lowland" there. The plant is not feeling very well. Anybody has cultivating tips?
Here's a couple of the little guys. I received the N. glabrata from Andreas Wistuba about 4 years ago. The N. talangensis was a seedling obtained at about the same time. The tallest stem on the N. glabrata is about 8". The N. talangensis is just under a foot. Although I have a small...
i've been keeping a wistuba obtained giant form of Heliamphora Nutans in about 89F days, 70F nights and constant 70%+ humidity sometimes 85% in days and always 90%+ nights. Never dry but not too moist either (not tray)
It has been like this for over a year and lower pitchers are constantly...
Steve (Bugweed) was shocked and dismayed when I told him that my growlist was not online, so here it is.
If interested in a plant, please feel free to contact me, preferably via email. I may not have a spare, but can always add it to my list of plants to propagate.

Esteemed Colleagues,
In general, the TC plants from The Nepenthes Nursery tend to produce more basal shoots at an earlier age than my seed grown plants. I'm wondering if tissue culture (TC) plants tend to do this more often than seed grown plants. When my plants get bigger and start draping...
Has anyone ordered anything from Wistuba.com? They look like they have some interesting plants....
They mention a US distributor as well>... know who that is?
Esteemed Colleagues,
For some reason Wistuba is the only seller of N. pervillei and has now pretty much given up on TC ing the plant. This species seems to be very difficult to come by. I've read some threads that it's around in Europe and can be grown as a lowlander / intermediate and that it...
I have a N.anamensis which I got from wistuba..He says that its lowland on his website.
I have read many that grows it like a highland.
But then I read that it grows in about 1500M above Sea level.
Mine grows in extrem lowland climate and it has already produced 2 pitcher on 2 new leaves in less...
