Hello, My name is Chris Duncan and I have been growing carnivorous plants for 5 years now. After a few deaths with the recent horrible winters I have actually gotten good at this. So far I have tried my hand at Flytraps, Nepenthes (lowland, highland, and hybrids), sarracenia, drosera(only...
WTB: Sarr 'Reptilian Rose'
I know this is a pricey cultivar and hard to find but hopefully I'll have a little luck here. I'm a nepenthes lover at heart and not usually sarracenia but this one looks wonderful enough that I need to see for myself.

Hi! I'm a new member here. I do not keep any carnivorous plants, but I have several other gardening projects.
I wish to build a setup for growing Sphagnum spp. mosses along with a few other acid bog plants in a fish tank enclosure. My current idea is to just to fill the bottom couple of inches...
Hi,
I'm pretty new here!
I bought a bag of soil, and i have dried Sphagnum moss, not live but blocks that swell as crazy when i wet them.
I'm thinking, my Sarracenia which i have had for about 4 weeks seems to be a bit big for it's pot.
Is it ok, or should i repot it into a bigger one, i...

Hi all,
I can take a few divisions off my mother plant of this species if anyone is interested. It should do well in intermediate to highland Nep conditions and isn't a huge space eater. I'd be interested in swapping for CPs, tropical blueberries, orchids, interesting new terrarium material...
Hi there.
After a pause of almost 10 years in growing CP (new jobs, moving abroad, etc) I'm finally starting again slowly.
For now I'm filling a homemade greenhouse in a plastic box (fitted with leds lights) and also growing a Sarracenia outside. After one year it still alive so I think that I...
After a long pause growing plants I recently started againin January 2016. Hopefully the spring will allow me to ramp up slowly and see what species I can grow outside without much trouble.

As of 1/6/16 I've been growing carnivores for a little over a year. I have a modest collection still, but it is ever growing. I figured it was time to finally start a grow list. I want to thank the members of this forum, as they have helped me grow my collection with giveaways and trades...
While checking out photos of Sarrs on FB, I ran across the name 'Cobra Nest'. Looking it up on Google, I discovered that it's been patented by one of the co-creators, James Booman.
