So I was VERY happy to receive my first Utrics today in the mail.
I bought some inexpensive tupperware to put them in and planted the plugs that came in 50/50 peat/sand (maybe a little on the sandier side).
These are all terrestrial Utrics (Sandersonii, Laxa, pubescens, livida, etc)
Below are...
This is my new terrarium, I have been working on it for about a month now. Now the plants are settle, i just thought about posting pics of it! :)
In the terrarium there are:

2-3 drosera capensis alba
1-2 drosera albino

Just today I ordered:
U. Livida
U. Sandersonii
U. Blanchetii
U. Puescens
I aim to just growing them on a sunny windowsill if possible (with my girlfriends orchids).
Any advice for a first time grower?
I plan on just having them in a peat/sand mix. Will keeping em waterlogged be fine? Is that...

Was wondering if anyone knows if this is normal growth for sandersonii. Doesn't seem to be producing normal leaves. Those slender, off colored looking leaves. At first I thought it was due to an infestation of fungus gnats (larvae). Put some mosquito dunks and I didn't see any after that and...

I am working with a researcher at the University of Arizona who is studying carnivorous plant genomes. He is particularly interested in plants with the smallest genomes and Genlisea aurea and margaretae are at the top of his list. It is difficult to obtain much test material because these plants...

Hi there.
A few months ago I was a lucky recipient of 11 utrics, a majority of them have been successfully propagated and moss free colonies were established in dead sphagnum. The temperature in the area I live in is dropping and I'm worried that if I wait a bit longer...
