As many of you may well be aware, I have been selling copies of my books to raise money for conservation and specifically, to support Meadowview Biological Station in their efforts of conserving Sarracenia...
I got some seeds of N. ampullaria from Johor. But the place where I got the seeds got N. rafflesiana and N. gracilis. So, the seeds could be hybrid with these 2 species.

It looks as if Roridula and all Byblis are true carnivores after all as they can digest phosphates.

I'm a very keen CP enthusiast from Devon in the UK.
My main interest is pings (I have around 100) but also sarracenia (150), nepenthes (30), drosera (30), vft (30), heliamphora (12), genlisea (3), brochinia reducta, catopsis berteroniana and roridula gorgonias.

I sowed 8 R.gorgonias seed four weeks ago and all but one have germinated! WOO HOO! They haven't produced any true leaves yet....but I can wait patiently.
Pics will follow once they've gotten a bit bigger--my camera can't seem to take good-quality pics of tiny objects.
I'm thrilled!
