Hi all,
last year in December I obtained a baby nepenthes labelled "n. pervillei" and originating from BE.
Over the last 12 months, it didn't make much progress, always looked a bit sick, but soldiered on as much as it could. Other Taiwanese growers told me n. pervillei doesn't do well in this...

Esteemed Colleagues,
For some reason Wistuba is the only seller of N. pervillei and has now pretty much given up on TC ing the plant. This species seems to be very difficult to come by. I've read some threads that it's around in Europe and can be grown as a lowlander / intermediate and that it...
I have attempted to create a list of all the known and currently recognised species of Nepenthes. Of course this list is by no means complete or even exhaustive, but it does give a rough idea of the number of species known. Please let me know if I have missed any species out, or if you have...

Went to visit Triffid Park (Melbourne Australia) for the first time today and like any good Nep lover did not walk away without doing my bit to keep the hobby/industry going .
However, that's also a down side... Now I want a hoop hothouse! Coming home to my 8x12" glasshouse, it seemed just...

At last, been waiting for these for quite some time. Arrived this morning:
N. adnata
N. clipeata (clone 2)
N. clipeata (clone U)
N. pervillei
Any suggestions about them?
I have potted them up:

Anyone growing N. pervillei? Looks interesting but have read it is difficult to grow. Obviously hot humid conditions are a must. Any other suggestions besides growing it on a hunk of granite in the middle of the ocean?
I picked one of these up from a friend and about all I can find on it is that Wistuba says it is "difficult." Is there anyone out there with some more concrete growing suggestions/conditions/experience?
Is anyone growing Nepethes pervillei? I believe it is a lowland species. Is it hard, intermediate or easy to grow? Last but not least. Does anyone know of a source for this plant or seeds?
I spent my honeymoon in the Seychelles and would love to grow this plant. Trying to get my wife to...
