Hello Everyone,
I am very new to this site and posting a thread, so I grow orchids here in montana, but I have gotten into CP's and I like the pinguicula especially. I am looking for the temperate butterworts like P macroceras, vulgaris, and poldinii or seeds from them. I have not found...
I am getting a Pinguicula moranensis and I am wondering about the growing conditions. I
have 3 questions.
1Can it take hot temperatures up to 100 f
2can it grow in sphagnum moss without other materials
3can I use summer carnivorous leaves for propagation?
4what is the best way of growing it...

Same method as my frog tank(which I'll post later)- kitty litter soaked in water and slapped on the back...

trydimite (SiO2)
hematite (Fe2O3)
pyroxene (with a base of SiO4) but which may be alkaline or lime-ferromagnesian
zeolite (no precise determination)
so basically a limestone clay...

I have more of these than any one person needs / LOL

Hello!
After seeing those nifty Utriculariums that Swords built, I had to try my hand at it!
Its just cork-bark (formally used to grow dendrobiums) cut and sanded to size to fit the large "Cube of Death." I have LFS in rain water at the bottom, into which I planted a plug of U. sandersonii...
