I don't really have anything worth trading I'm afraid... but if any generous forum members have Mimosa Pudica seeds or plants they'd like to share, I'll take back all of the bad things I ever said about you! :-D
I just bought four small Mimosa pudica, at a buck fifty each. I was wondering if anyone has grown these before and has any tips.
Brian
PS I have been looking for these for a while, and it is really cool to see them curl up when touched.
My mimosa pudica has started flowering, but after each flower opens, the nest day the whole flower "pod" falls off without producing any seeds. What do I need to do to get it to produce seeds?
Thanks,
dewy
I have a Mimosa pudica ( sensitive plant) seedling and I was wondering what is the best way to grow it? What soil mix, how much water, can it be grown outside, how much light, etc. does this plant like?
Thanks,
dewy

The most anoying thing iv done [here] probably would be spinning toppics off in bazare directions (leading to their ineveieble death) wich is quite uswful for me at times- not that iv ever done it on purpouse
The other would be listing...

I've got some Desmodium seedlings, and they don't seem to respond to touch like my mimosa plants. Does anyone know what the deal is with these plants? Aren't they supposed to exhibit rapid movement?
Thanks,
Nile
Is this normal? I'm employed at a commercial greenhouse, and my boss has allowed me to cultivate some of my plants there...I started 6 Mimosa from seed, they're probably about 3 or 4 months old. I was hoping they'd develop some seed of their own so I could insure another generation, but it looks...
I just had a birthday and I recieved a Mimosa as a gift. I had never heard of them before. They remind me of minitaure version of palm trees but when you touch the leaves, they shut, almost shy away from you. Absolutely the neatest thing I've seen since my first flytrap. I also got an...
