Well as we all know all of the upright (not including the climbing D. macrantha) Drosera in South East Australia have been reduced to the same species, D. peltata. Howerver these "forms" grow side by side, look different, are geneticly isolated from each other, have different looking flower...
Hi everyone,
I went on a fieldtrip today and came across some lovely Drosera glanduligera plants in flower. I thought you may be interested in taking a look. These plants grew in amongst Drosera peltata and D. macrantha ssp. planchonii.

Hi,
I have been sowing various winter-growing Drosera recently (D. cistiflora, peltata, macrantha ssp planchonii & whittakeri - wish me luck! ), and was struck by how different the various seed structure/morphology is in this genus: from the tiny D.cistiflora, through the small rounded...
finally after a long wait of 6months, my aurticulat's germinated (but only two sprouts camee out out of 15 seeds). So ahppy, kinda wierd that only 2 sprouts came out of my macrantha seeds also, and they took around the same time to germinate!
