It's been a very good spring for my plants as they've presented me with some flowers that I've never seen before (in person).
I'll start with the flower of the month - U. longifolia ...
.... and now my super surprise - U. nelumbifolia. I got some of these plants late last summer and never...
Been a while  Quite a few months I barely took pics of the cps, and been a bit away from forums, but I'm back :D
Utricularia longifolia, 1st time flowering! Also have another pot sending a stalk, and even another stalk coming up from the water tray (already potted).

It is the first time that my U. longifolia has come into flower so I thought I'd take a few pics to share. The flower hasn't quite yet fully opened but I will update post when it does.

Wow, what an amazing spring this has ended up being! First the x[alpina x endresii], then the U. longifolia, and now this! ...simply amazing  This is in the other (much cooler) greenhouse BTW.

I have a potful of dirt brimming with U. logifolia. It invaded my pot of ampullaria and I could not get rid of it other than to carefully transplant my Amp out of there, leaving a pot full of U. longifolia. Anyone interested in it?
I can't remember where this particular plant came from (I'm guessing Travis but neither of us know for sure) but when I got it I potted one in a peat mix and one in LFS just to see how they do... Can you guess (before looking at the pics) which would flower? And yes, both are growing out the...
Hi all,
Here are some pics of some of my neps. These are in intermediate conditions in winter and on the cooler side of lowland in the summer. The rest of my neps are outside. My mom has been taking care of my plants while I'm at school, and she sent me these pics today. It's nice to be able to...
I've read that Orchidioides / Iperua seed have a short shelf life in general & U. humboldtii & U. nelumbifolia probably mark the lower end of the range with their 'special' seeds. It looks promising for me to have some U. nephrophylla seed in the coming weeks (& possibly U. longifolia seed in a...

Hey, all. I have several small Cephalotus. I've decided to try a naturalistic terrarium with a lot of epiphytes, a wood/foam back wall, orchids, tillandsia and small bromeliads. Of course I'll still have CP's, but I'll be sticking to Drosera, a few small Nepenthes, Pinguicula and Utricularia...
