Howdy y'all! I've been growing CPs for around 5 years now. I browsed through various forums for awhile but this is the first time I've really joined one. I've been interested in horticulture for a long time and mostly grew cacti, succulents, and herbs at first with a few CPs on the side, but now...

The current one I have just houses plants that can handle indoor humidity, since it has screen mesh. How would, or even should, I cover that up to increase the humidity. Will it be healthy airflow wise? Is the new thing to...
I just moved everything to a new set up by necessity, and I am having problems with a number of plants I have not had trouble with before. New set up is a wire shelf wrapped in panda film (4 sides), lit with 4 2' T5 lights. Air movement/cooling by small computer fan. Temps low to high 80's...
Most Drosera can be easily and quickly propagated by leaf cutting, root cuttings, and flower scape cuttings. (A flower scape is just another words for the developing unfurling flower stalk as it emerges from your plant.) This will give you a mature plant faster than raising one from seed...
Hey all,
Recently I've acquired a lot of plants. I need to buy more lights, but I need something really efficient, because I can't afford to pay $40+ dollars per month. I am willing to pay for a more expensive light if I am going to save in the long term. Anyone have any ideas?
Hi guys!
I just this little ping like a week or so. I normally keep track on my new plants and noticed that the leaves of this particular ping is getting brown. I'm wondering if its because of the the lights being too close? I'm using an artificial light that's around 8 inches from the plant...
So I just got my first Heliamphora plants. I am very excited. Currently they are growing with my other plants under flourescent lights, but I will be building a more specialized growing area for them with LED lights and ebb and flow watering.

Does anyone have experience cultivating Drosera flexicaulis? I have it growing indoors in a terrarium under lights, but I'm not sure that that is the right thing to do since there isn't that much light and it looks rather etiolated. If I grew it outside I would be able to give it full sun but...

Hello,
I have recently came into possession of some cephalotus seeds and after searching on the forum, came up with a plan to sow them. Some one else on this forum used seed-starter sponge to propogate pullings, maybe RSS or Jcal, can't remember. But I got inspiration for this from them...
These are both very desirable VFT clones:

Hey TF. In November or December I picked up some Stapelia leendertziae rooted starts. They grow under 4 2' T5HO lights. Temps are moderately warm. My other stapeliads are growing. They have rooted into the media, and they have been accepting water for several months. They have not, however, put...
Hello everyone. I was hoping you guys can help out with a few questions I have about my Nepenthes 'Lady Luck'. This is my first nepenthes. I ordered from a guy online, because the pitchers looked a really cool shade of red and this plant is supposed to do well indoors.
Amazon says I ordered it...
Hey TF. I just picked up a decent light fixture. Its a 2" 4 bulb T5HO fixture. As you might know, and I have been told, and just learned in a huge way, these lights run MUCH hotter than T8 bulbs. The surface of a bulb is reading about 150F. This brought my tank to almost 100F within an hour. My...
My Ping.Jaumavensis seems to be growing UP and not out or spreading.
What are your thoughts on this plant?
Too much light? Not enough light? Too much or too little water?
I'm using high output T5 lights
Thoughts?
Hey, TF. I am replacing my set of 2 4' T8 shop shop lights in favor of something better. I plan to buy a 2' 4 lamp T5 fixture. I am mostly on Amazon. I have been looking at a few fixtures.
