I have the opportunity to buy some pygmies, my first ever pygmy sundew - but there are 6 to choose from and I can't by them all! So I need help choosing one. I have my heart set on Leucoblasta (I'm in love with this sundew :) ) but if its not good for beginners I'll abstain from buying it...
As i was taking some shots of some of my lasiantha plants i noticed something interesting.
I grow my pygmys in a small greenhouse. Because of its location, the greenhouse gets more light on one of the sides so i ocasionaly rotate the pots to keep the plants growing strait up and not lean on...

I received the gemmae of this species a couple of weeks back. I have not grown it before so I hope it will be as heat tolerant as D. puchella.

Hi everyone,
Another of the pygmy Drosera species in my collection has decided to flower over the past few days. The species is Drosera lasiantha and the plant in the following photos is over an inch in height. The obtained the plant 3 years ago bare rooted through the post and it has thrived...
My D. lasiantha flower opened today. It's bright pinkish purple and 1.5 cm across, nearly as big as the entire plant. I will try and get a picture sometime this week.
First D. echinoblasta, with big orange flowers, then D. roseana with fragrant white flowers, now this.
Yay.
