This info came across the VCPS listserver & even though it comes across as blatant spam, anyone who has seen some of his other books & enjoys Nepenthes will cough up the bucks ... The email also had 21 beautiful color pics of Neps - however, I don't know how to share those pics w/o hosting each...
Cool in Singapore means 75-77F.
With natural light - some Neps are quite happy with the lower light intensity at my balcony
The good old N. veitchii x campanulata. After giving me 12 flower stalks last year, this season it is pitchering.
The peristome is bronze/red. Quite cool...
Went out of town for 3 weeks and got someone to look after my plants. After coming back, about 20% of my collection is dead, and the rest is SO FRIGGIN DESSICATED that I am forced to repot every single plant I have. I'm talking total dryout, to where the peat is like sand again and can't get wet...
double tendril'd fusca 'Sarawak' leaf. Unfortunately, the tendrils never extended and just turned black.

Since there seems to be a spike in interest in seed grown plants (finally), I've decided to throw this down as the ultimate reference.
First, I decided to make my own guide on sowing. I do not advocate the use of sphagnum, especially for growing from seed, for these reasons:
1) The moss can...
I found many neoguinensis and insignis from Papua.

Here's my list, it has grown very fast recently and will take it's last fast growth in the next months as I receive a shippment from Wistuba.
At the moment there are 71 species, plus 27 comming. Would love to post photos, but can't find a way to do so.

Hi,
If anybody wants to know more about it...
A few years ago I started being worried about my N. insignis (Biak, clone from Wistuba) as in a Botanic Garden I found the same plant labeled as a hybrid. On the same day Wistuba ensured me that he had collected the seeds of his plants personally...
Hi all,
had this insignis for a while now, but never really read any literature on it. one of my favourite plants, it was bought from BE last year. Can anyone help me identify the form? I know Wistuba shows 2 distict forms : Biak and Tayeve.

Can the leaves help to ID them too...
Hello everyone, here is my grow list. Little old with some additions missing but pretty accurate. Current 2/05 additions coming soon, couple losses to.

i have an insignis and the tendrils look somewhat promising to produce pitchers but i heard that this is a very very picky nepenthes when it comes to conditions!
I have attempted to create a list of all the known and currently recognised species of Nepenthes. Of course this list is by no means complete or even exhaustive, but it does give a rough idea of the number of species known. Please let me know if I have missed any species out, or if you have...
