I've got 4 ripe Myrmecodia sp. fruit to giveaway. There's usually between 2 and 4 seeds in each fruit. These have an extremely short shelf life and germinate FAST ! It's not uncommon to get germination under 24 hours after sowing. Shipping is on me for these. Must be a US resident. You also must...
I got this plant as Drosera derbyensis, but I'm not sure since the petioles seem kind of wide.
This plant came as Drosera brevicornis but I don't think that is the case as the traps don't appear to be elongated.
I really hope they aren't hybrids.
Sadly, I must dispose of about a dozen Nepenthes hybrid seedlings that I do not have the room to grow out. Before doing so, I wanted to see if anyone would like to trade for Sarracenia or Tillandsia.
The seedlings are N. splendiana crossed with this Song of Melancholy and this other SoM clone...
Hi all,
I have the following species for trade. All of the tuberous species are dormant.
D. auriculata
D. hookeri
D. abberans (used to be whiitakeri subsp. abberans)
D. menziesii subsp. menziesii ( plants get very red, almost crimson late in the growing season)
D. erythrorhiza subsp...
Sorry if this question is dumb but I've been wondering what is the difference between lets just say a N. Maxima x Alata and a N. Alata x Maxima? Also when you do create hybrids how would you go about describing the hybrid? Like the male x female? Lastly does it work the same sarrs?
In spite of my difficulties growing Pings, I can grow orchids really well. First, a picture of a Laelia angereri x L. katsukiana:
This is a primary hybrid of two rock laelias from Brazil. They can grow well outside in Arizona, as long as they are given some shade in the afternoon, and a...

I noticed that there was a Passiflora thread on Terraforums, but many years ago. I thought it was time to start a new one.

Sarracenia leucophylla Hurricane Creek, AL × alabamensis (ca. 25 seeds)
Some of last years crosses. Flowers were bagged before opening and until a few weeks after petal drop. I haven't the time, patience or space to grow hybrids in search of a few outstanding plants so I'll leave up to others...
Up for auction is a set of 5 Begonias: B. brevirimosa, B. luxurians, B. bogneri, B. herbacea and B. sizemoreae. Most are small and suitable for growing in terrariums; B. bogneri and B. herbacea are epiphytes. The huge exception is Begonia luxurians, which I grow outside, and which gets over 10...

Sarracenia oreophila "Sand Mountain #2" × flava seeds - approximately 25 seeds.
I crossed these Sarracenia last year, flowers were bagged before opening and kept bagged for some weeks after petal drop. From...

I have a N. ramispina that has just popped a flower spike out of its newest leaf. I'm 99% sure its male so I am looking for any female Nepenthes that are around the same stage, or will be soon.
Of course a female ramispina would get the highest priority, but I'm also open to makeing some nice...

I live in Southern California in a zone 8. Santa Clarita, CA to be exact. I was interested in a few ping species and hybrids to see if I would have any problem growing them outside alongside Sarrs, vfts, and hardy dews year round. I am typically looking for pings that are very hardy like the...
